I have a suggestion- could more songs be uploaded with sheet music and lyrics to their pages? I think this would be helpful to most musicians and would promote knowledge of these songs. A lot of these song lyrics and music could be found in other sites, and it would be simpler and far easier to find them if they were categorized in a uniform format on their pages. Thanks, and please consider this idea. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.226.129.21 (talk) 00:04, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Is melody really "Rosin the Beau"?[edit]

The melody of "Down in the Willow Garden" I heard on Raising Arizona does not match the usual version of "Rosin the Beau," eg at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qv6aI3lDS5k Does your source call it a "variant" of "Rosin the Beau"? Perhaps that should be clarified in the article. Hcunn (talk) 21:57, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wilgus (1979) says ""Rosin the Beau," the tune to which "Rose Connoley" is invariably sung in the United States". I'm sure the melody will vary in details and tempo between different versions. Fences&Windows 22:39, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
