Each announcement

Is it necessary to mention the date that each act gets announced. I think that the date each headliner was announced is sufficient. Most people will just look at the line-up tables anyway, plus reading "_____ were announced on the 12th, followed by ______ on the 19th. Then, a week later ____ self confirmed. This was confirmed by Download the following day." Etc. It just seems pointless. Markh94hours (talk) 13:31, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
