"Here Rest Serbian Heroes"

The first reference in the article, Život u ponosu, smrt u poniženju, dedicates a section (Nemačka počast Srbima / Germany homage Serbs) to the German perspective on the fight, and includes a line on the monument (of which i found an image at lupus-ex-machina.tumblr.com). But i don't understand Serbian and an automatic translation is not clear enough, so maybe the wikipedia community can decide if and how it can be used as source to the {{cn}}-tagged part of the article. Or should i rather add a request to sr:Village pump(this being suggested as the relevant place on sr:Talk:Main Page)? -- Jokes Free4Me (talk) 17:50, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

The cn tag was added after the word "himself". The text you found does not support the assertion that August von Mackensen erected the monument himself. The text implies he ordered erection of the monument. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 18:01, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
