Story-Spoilers[edit]

I put the sole paragraph for the story into comments, since it had not really any useful information about the story, but it spoiled the true ending. --84.184.92.197 17:52, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Drakengard/Drakengard-2[edit]

I don't think that the information about Drakengard 2 should be on this page, unless it's a page for the entire Drakengard series, and not just for the first game.--User:Arius1987 11:23, 10 March 2006

RTS?[edit]

I removed references to Drakengard being a RTS game, as it certainly isn't one. Also, I feel that the "Story" part is a bit off, since it refers to pact-binding having taken place before the game's story, even though these events transpire during the game. 130.232.131.47 21:51, 18 March 2006 (UTC) Well I'm sure before the game there have been "Pact-Partnering" before, otherwise how would Caim have the knowledge to be able to make a pact with Angelus? Verdelet formed a pact before the events of the game for sure since he had a dragon as his pact partner who now exists in a petrified state.Unknown Dragon 05:37, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

minor clean-up[edit]

I changed a few sentences and words (the he or she parts) and saying that "like the Bible it is divided into chapters and verses" might be true, but there are a lot of books and works out there that are divided in such manner.--Soetermans 22:29, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Third M-rated game?[edit]

PE and PEII were Squaresoft games. (nijuro (talk) 16:24, 24 April 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Remastered for PS3/PS Vita[edit]

It has been confirmed by SQEX Japan that there is no plan to release remastered versions of DOD1 or 2. I directly asked about the validity of this claim and here is their answer (my translation):

There has been no decision to release a remastered version of these games, nor is there any current information regarding a future release. Should news about a future release be announced, it will be posted on the official Web site.

Let's try to remember to only include confirmed information with proper citations on Wiki. --drakengard-3.com (talk) 02:47, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Featured[edit]

Good looking article, lots of sources, not too long or full of fluff. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.225.54.161 (talk) 23:02, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

On the involvement of Yosuke Saito[edit]

The article mentions that "Cavia staff member Yosuke Saito" acted as Drakengard's programmer, but the game's credits explicitly name Toshiyuki Koike and Takeshi Katayama as lead programmers and Yosuke Saito as an executive producer. Maybe I misread, but could someone better versed in the Japanese language than I am proof-read the attached Famitsu piece? I noticed Saito isn't mentioned anywhere. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamie Kilmister (talkcontribs) 01:55, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

On the topic of Drakengard's Development[edit]

In the first paragraph of the Development section of the article, there are two people mentioned with the name Iwasaki, Jun and Takuya. Later on, an Iwasaki is mentioned as being unable to take up the position of Director and thus gave that position to Yoko Taro. Which Iwasaki was that, as I cannot find a reference to either in the attached citation?
