Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because the term driving moccasin should remain independent from its Native American origins to avoid confusion on its history and uses. Additionally, the separate page will be able provide a forum for identification, history and discussion on a very popular form of footwear which clearly deserves its own, unique page. Thank you. Less opinionated/Even Required?[edit]

Is this line really required? The style of shoe was also mentioned in the hit show New Girl, Starring Zooey Deschanel.

Nope. That's vandalism from a shared IP (User:207.29.40.2) with a history of bad edits. You could have safely removed this on sight, as I'm about to do. dondello (talk) 17:20, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is this page really required? Can't it be a sub-section of Moccasins? A lot of clothing articles refer to the then/now of the item. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.244.214.104 (talk) 19:22, 3 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
