Requested move

[edit]

I believe that it is an improper redirect as drum stick (two words) is separate from drumstick (one word), which can refer to many different things.

  • Oppose Musicians often use the term "drumstick." In fact, it would probably be better if Drum stick redirected to Drumstick, rather than vice versa. —Wahoofive (talk) 00:09, 9 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose As a general rule, if the term XXX has a common meaning and some less-common meanings, the article XXX should cover the common meaning (with a reference to the XXX (disambiguation)), and the article XXX (disambiguation) should discuss the other meanings.

It was requested that this article be renamed but there was no consensus for it be moved. Dragons flight 00:15, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
