Clean-up & help[edit]

I did some copy-editing work on this article, but there's a bit of heavy lifting still to come. I tagged for references, so if anyone can back up some of the more obscure facts, it would be appreciated.

Also, if anyone can find a reliable source for the English lyrics, please include them. I keep coming up with conflicting translations. Everybody seems to remember this song, but that's no good here.PacificBoy 21:50, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blazing Saddles Song[edit]

Do you mean "I'm Tired" is a take-off on this song? The lyrics at least don't sound at all like the English translation that is shown here. Shocking Blue (talk) 22:23, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In films playing the song, Dr Ehrlich’s Magic Bullet from 1940 features it in background music early in the film then his wife plays it as he is dying. Doctorcarolove (talk) 19:37, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
