Ethics

[edit]
(1) To what extent does the issue of "dual loyalty" bear, even to the slightest extent, upon the provision that lies within most of the medical profession's codes of ethics; namely, that an individual should never attempt treat a member of his/her own family?
(2) To what extent does the issue of "dual loyalty" bear, even to the slightest extent, upon the question (for the medical professionals tending both the mother and the child) of whether a husband should be present at the birth of his child?
(3) To what extent does the issue of "dual loyalty" bear, even to the slightest extent, upon the circumstances in which a parent brings a child to a medical professional for "treatment", and the question of whomsoever it might be that is, in fact, the professional's actual "client", the parent or the child? 129.94.78.159 (talk) 23:39, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
