Untitled[edit]

Current news. Morrison responsible for murder of 16 year old girl at high school one mile from Columbine High School, site of 1999 Columbine massacre. Deserves page.

Contested spelling. Duane R. Morrison is that used by the Denver post and other new media. See Dwayne Morrison, for longer article than this one. Someone please find the correct spelling and redirect mispellings to that page!Az7997 17:20, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merging[edit]

That's good information, but can we please merge this? --D.F. "Jun Kazama Master" Williams 17:29, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The latest stories to be released have his name listed as "Duane R. Morrison" and the AP seems to be sticking to this spelling. The previous "Dwayne Morrison" spelling is limited to very few news articles (according to Google News). I will see about moving the other article to this one. ju66l3r 17:31, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have submitted a request to the Admin Noticeboard asking for a move of Dwayne Morrison to this articlespace. There is much more content/context with that article but because this article is established, a non-admin can not make this move without making a mess. ju66l3r 17:40, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
As per Centrx's suggestion on the noticeboard, I've merged the two article's informations and redirected the other page to here, per the Sheriff's spelling of the guy's name. ju66l3r 18:33, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'd suggest merging this article with Platte Canyon High School shooting. MK2 02:37, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Other Info?[edit]

Shouldnt there be other stuff about him besides just the crime committed? --Johnston49er 02:51, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The phrase "who stormed into" is not accurate. He actually just walked into the school, spent at least 20-30 minutes wandering around, even speaking to students and asking questions, before entering the classroom where he fired a warning shot and then "took hostages."
