Holy Roman Emperor

[edit]

The article mentions the Holy Roman Emperor in 1063, but Henry IV only received that crown in 1084. Olessi (talk) 21:57, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wasn't there an Emperor in 1063? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 22:04, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Henry III died in 1056. His successor, Henry IV, was King of the Romans until his actual coronation as Holy Roman Emperor in 1084. Olessi (talk) 22:36, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'd expect you are correct, and the error stems from not very high quality of sources used (unreferenced wiki translation). I have corrected them (hopefully). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 16:31, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Propaganda

[edit]

This supposed source is pure Polish nationalist propaganda, and, of course, unreadable by anyone but Poles. Wikipeida has permitted itself to become a vehicle for Polish nationalists who have rewritten the history of their region. Historia Narodu Śląskiego. Prawdziwe dzieje ziem śląskich od średniowiecza do progu trzeciego tysiąclecia (History of Silesian Nation. True history of Silesian lands from the Middle Ages to the threshold of the third Millennium), Zabrze 2003 ISBN 83-919589-0-6. 2A00:23C4:B607:CF00:ADCB:6450:98F:2A7F (talk) 08:51, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
