Inappropriate photo[edit]

Can someone tell me why anyone thought it was a good idea, in an article about the Blue Devils, to have a photo of the basketball team playing at the Dean Dome? Am I alone in thinking that this is probably not the best illustration. I'm going to see if I can find a photo that show them playing at Cameron Indoor. jackturner3 (talk) 18:47, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

There's a move afoot at the WikiProject College Basketball to have separate pages for each college basketball team. We'd create a new Duke Blue Devils basketball page, moving most of the content from here over, and then this page would primarily have a summary and link to the full article.

Ok so I decided to go ahead and do it. Discuss here if anyone has serious heartache. I think doing it allows us to expand the CBB article and this page won't get too big. - Daveahern 16:51, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Duke colors[edit]

University of North Carolina Tar Heels has their colors listed as Carolina Blue on their page. Duke commonly refers to its own dark blue shade as "Duke Blue." I reverted edits made changing Duke Blue to Navy blue. Also updated hex code of Duke Blue. See: http://www.oit.duke.edu/pubtrain/dukespec.html KitchenGod 20:23, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you look at the official athletics website of Duke Athletics, the color is referred to as Royal Blue. I'm going to leave the hex, but change the name. http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=4200&KEY=&ATCLID=152182 Daveahern 14:43, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Crazy Canadian added black under the colors since "on the basketball uniforms there are heavy elements on black." I, however, think that it should not be included since it's not an official color - the colors are Royal Blue & White as seen on the site linked by Daveahern. Does it really matter that some uniforms have black? I think that only the official colors should be included. It is my understanding that is the entire point of listing colors in the infobox. Help please[edit]

Can someone upload these two pictures and post links of them on this page?
