Blood transfusions

Sorry, I messed up my edit summary. I was saying this page should be a short recap, and the writers' minor errors (such as a possible error about blood transfusions) don't really need to be analyzed here on Wikipedia. -Fritter

Hardly a minor error. Anyone with high school biologry knows an O mother can't have an AB child. That someone with medical training wouldn't know that streches the bounds of disbelf. I almost turned off the TV when the emt guy didn't dismiss testing John out of hand. Regardless, this is just an episode recap. I don't think a discussion of technical errors belongs here, and certainly not in the introductory paragraph. Further, it's quite clear this series is not striving for the hard sci-fi genre, so one can expect many similar errors throughout the show, sad to say. I agree that the blood transfusion error should be mentioned on the wiki page. The idea of a wiki is to give information relevant to a topic. Just like on the movie synopsis pages there is a section about Trivia and/or errors. I just came to this page tonight, after watching the TV show, specifically to see if it mentioned the blood-type goof. Saw it wasn't here, and thought "How could I be the only one who caught that?" It doesn't really belong on Wikipedia. There are lots of errors on TV shows; it shouldn't be Wikipedia's job to catalog them all, since the pages will get really long and become a battleground for fans to post their own interpretations of mistakes. See WP:EPISODE:Things to Avoid: "Technical errors and continuity issues ("bloopers" or "goofs"). Unsourced sections about technical errors or continuity issues should generally be avoided. I didn't know it was a continuity error; I thought it was hinting that Cameron had faulty information, or that Sarah was not John's mother, both of which would be rather twisty plot twists. Also, apparently it IS a major mistake which was discussed by a reliable source (the writer of the show). Perhaps it COULD be added to the production section? its not beyond possibility for john to have the same blood type, just extremely rare

considering the chrono-particles left in kyle reese's bloodstream after taking a chronoportation bath might affected something in john's birth, for example: same blood

Billy Wisher

It can't be a coincidence that Bill Wisher happens to be the name of the co-writer of Terminator 2, can it? Serendi^podous 20:10, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Other than Connor and Reese, as far as I can tell all the major character names are subtle jokes. Cromartie -- he's chrome underneath; Cameron -- James Cameron; Agent Ellison -- Harlan Ellison, SF writer who may have inspired the films; Agent Kester -- Kester is a neighborhood of north of hollywood, probably not far from where the show is filmed. Wisher's name is also a melancholy joke in that he wishes he hadn't built the machine that destroyed civilization. However, this stuff can go on a fanzine but it is OR to put it here. Clarification for the T-600

the article mentions that the terminator who held derek reese and and andy goode (among others) was a T-600. The T-600 does exist: here an excerpt from the script of therminator 1

REESE Reese: Not a man. A Terminator. Cyber Dynamics Model 101.
later… Reese: Pay attention. The 600 series had rubber skin. We spotted them easy. But these are new. They look human. Sweat, bad breath, everything. Very hard to spot. I had to wait ’til he moved on you before…
