The result of the move request was: Close. I participated in the RM, but I'm closing now since after 5 weeks of being open, both articles have been moved anyway. We appear to have a clear consensus for this; if there are objections we can open a new RM. Cúchullain t/c 13:17, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

– Per WP:USSTATION for the current article. The California station, in my view, is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC over the station in British Columbia, which was a flag stop and lost service in 2011. Natural disambiguation is available for that article and follows the current conventions (see examples in Category:Via Rail stations in British Columbia). After the move, Dunsmuir railway station should redirect here, and there can be a hatnote for the disused British Columbia station. Mackensen (talk) 19:46, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Mackensen: I've boldly moved the BC station and redirected the generic one here. If you want to, you can now move the Amtrak station. Secondarywaltz (talk) 20:23, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Mackensen: I see you've found Hayward station with the same problem. You should probably just boldly move any of those minor or closed stations you encounter. Secondarywaltz (talk) 20:48, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
