Historic Evidence for Geographic Location[edit]

41.781 N, 100.961 W as the historic location of Dunwell, Nebraska is supported by the following evidence:

From the Historic Aerials website, photograph from 1946 at those coordinates showing no longer extant buildings at the meeting of roadways that can still be seen in contemporary satellite footage.

The World of the American West, published 2010, page 415, correspondence from 1910 and 1911 owned by the author which correlates to the current location of Dunwell Drive and Shimmins Lake.

McPherson County History Book, published 1986, establishing the location in relation to Tryon, NE and in relation to the county border.
