I wish it would Rayne

[edit]

Removed this: The character, Rayne, from the videogame series BloodRayne shows a strong similarity to Durham Red. --as it's a matter of opinion. "Hot vampire chick with guns" is not exclusive to these two characters. Noclevername 07:29, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added it back. The similarity is significantly more than just "hot vampire chick with guns". Still, I'll admit the motif is somewhat overdone. --Mdwyer 17:42, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, if the similarity is "signifigantly more", it shouldn't be hard to find cites for it. If it can be cited, leave it in. If not, out it goes as OR. -- Noclevername (talk) 21:43, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its bloody obvious the Durham red was shamlessly riped off in BloodRayne. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.152.7.34 (talk) 15:17, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Provide some proof. Allegations of plagiarism are very serious. To date, with all your vandalism to the BloodRayne pages, you have not supplied even one credible, third party source for your claims. Web Warlock (talk) 15:29, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
personal attack removedhow the two characters are similar and provide some proof. Your edits will be reverted every single time if you dont.

Concerning the strong similarity to Durham Red, its pretty ovbious. Just looking up pics of them proves it. It would really need a source if it said "The character Rayne from Bloodrayne was inspired by Durham Red". THROUGH FIRE JUSTICE IS SERVED! 22:42, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

personal attack removed, just a look at both characters shows that Durham Red was copied for BloodRayne, the cover of BloodRayne was almost a carbon copied of 2000AD prog 1111 and not to mention the fact they use the same cloths and weapons. The only minor difference between the characters is that Red is British and Raynes a yank. Do so research before you make edits on pages you clearly know nothing about. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.128.47 (talk) 22:45, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Finally you talking. You are saying plagiarism. You dont go around claiming that, as its copyright violation, so you MUST provide a source, more than just some pictures. But, alas, you still sound like just fan of Durham Red who enraged they look similar, and will not it go, personal attack removed. References Setion

[edit]

Added a references section. Looking for some more information now. IF (and that is a really big IF) a lawsuit was actually filed then there would be a record of it somewhere. So far I have found nothing. Web Warlock (talk) 15:46, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not to mention the development of any more Bloodrayne games is supposedly barred....thats pretty serious. Now I know that info would be on like IGN. But it isn't......THROUGH FIRE JUSTICE IS SERVED! 23:20, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
TRI mentioned some time ago that there would be no more BloodRayne because of finacial problems with the company. That was also on the now defunct UK BloodRayne fan site. But I need to find a solid ref for that before I put it on a page. Web Warlock (talk) 03:09, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the claim has been denied, but still nothing as to who made the claim to begin with. ("they look alike" isn't a viable citation, see Wikipedia:Common knowledge.) -- Noclevername (talk) 01:46, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The whole "Knots Landing continuity" paragraph, could it be removed?

[edit]

She has since appeared in several of the Strontium Dog revived series stories set after Alphers return from the dead. Her own series just said he was dead, and was set thousands of years into the future when he would have been anyway so it could still work out.86.187.167.151 (talk) 17:23, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree; deleted. Richard75 (talk) 18:58, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
