Requested move

The result of the proposal was move. JPG-GR (talk) 05:25, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Dušan Đurić → Dusan Djuric — Swedish spelling for a Swedish national born in Sweden. As a Swede I've never seen his name with Serbian spelling in either Swedish or English media. No sources has been shown supporting the page move from the Swedish spelling to Serbian; indeed the only source provided in the article uses the Swedish spelling — Sebisthlm (talk) 19:43, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

- Support per nom. Sebisthlm (talk) 20:50, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- Erm, you are the nominator, so your support for the move need not be expressed in the survey. – PeeJay 21:09, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- I know, a bit obvious maybe. But in case someone have any doubts... Seriously, it's been some time since I did my last RM, so I couldn't remember if I was supposed to add myself or not. After all, I'm a person supporting the move. Sebisthlm (talk) 21:44, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- Harmless to do so, and may avoid confusion - but the closing admin should understand either way. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 20:44, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

- Support unless sources can be found to show English usage otherwise. Note that the site in the article is in Swedish and plainly has no aversion to diacritics. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 23:01, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- Pretty much the only English-language mention I can find for him on the internet is here from Reuters, which uses Djuric. The scarcity of sources surprises me, because I know I've read about him somewhere before! His autograph is unfortunately unenlightening. Knepflerle (talk) 00:07, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- Support, Swedish-born. --Asteriontalk 14:45, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
- To be fair his place of birth has nothing to do with it. The spelling he uses, and the spelling media use depend on issues far more complex than the location of a maternity ward. Correlation does not imply cause. Knepflerle (talk) 19:51, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
