PBS Frontline-Poisoned Waters[edit]

What about adding information about the PBS Frontline episode originally broadcast on April 21st, 2009 entitled Poisoned Waters? It discussed the Superfund site on not just the 5 mile stretch of the Duwamish River, but also ones in neighboring businesses and communities like Boing and South Park. I would add information, but I'm not informed about the river outside of this wiki page. PBS, and especially Frontline, are always excellent sources of journalistic excellence due to the research they do. The show will be replayed the next two days early in the morning in case anyone wanted to see the two hour episode.

ProPublica article on Duwamish cleanup efforts[edit]

Hey everyone,

Article here (I don't think there's a paywall or article view limit at PB) - [1]

This should slot in nicely into the Pollution section and I leave it to the excellent (and more experienced) contributors of the page to add what is necessary in a WP:SUMMARY style. No way my couple-of-times-raft-floating-on-the-Duwamish-self could give a decent perspective of this river's troubles.

Cheers! Shortiefourten (talk) 18:14, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
