Assessment[edit]

I have assessed this as Start Class, as it contains more detail and organization than would be expected of a Stub, and of low importance, as I do not feel than many people outside of Canada would be familiar with the subject of the article. Cheers, CP 20:18, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, Norman is more important than you might expect. I'm not Canadian, but I learned about him the first time while watching a documentary in Japan. Probably more people in Japan know about him than in Canada!--Amban 03:30, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's also worth noting that Norman didn't just leave "a brief note" as is stated here, but rather two notes, in which he vehemently declares his innocence. I'd also like to agree with the person above me, in that probably a lot of people in Japan would know about Norman and his life due to his involvement with Japan on both an intellectual and professional level. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.42.106.107 (talk) 16:57, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
