Pamban Bridge

[edit]

The article states "In 1963, a huge tidal wave washed away parts of Pamban Bridge". Wanting to know more, I followed the link to Pamban Bridge and I looked up Tsunami, but there was no further information. So was the wave 'huge' or not? Coyets (talk) 19:12, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

Elattuvalappil is not a patronymic, it is a family name, more specifically it is the name of the ancestral house (tharavaadu). See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_name#Malayali_.28Kerala.29_names. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vksrihari (talkcontribs) 07:00, 25 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
