Help! Confusion of Dates[edit]

Having been a major contributor to this page, though not its creator, further research has led me to question the opening paragraph of the original page. If T-T was born in 1879 then he was 16 in 1895 when he had a book of poems published - so far so good - and (according to the Wikipedia page) had his first novel published 2 years later (which would be 1897). However his first novel was not published until 1905, according to the Wikipedia page itself AND the British Library. So we have an discrepancy of EIGHT YEARS. I find it hard to credit that he had a book published at 16 - I can find no record of it anywhere. Can anyone help? Any suggestions?Picknick99 (talk) 20:17, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
