On Page Three of This, there is the following footnote:
"For this standard, ability to release is confusingly defined as the ability to release a hold-open device, which is really part of selfclosing. Not to be confused with the ability to release a locked door on an escape route, which applies to an emergency exit door,
not a fire door."
