Single cover
[edit]Ok we're going to have a problem with the single cover for this song because there are more than one version. There is no official cover for just the Mary J. Blige version because she did never released it alone. However the following covers are official and in existance:
- Promo Cover (sourced for Ebay)[unreliable source?]
- Although the promo cover and the image only features Blige it is tagged with "featuring Jay Sean".
- Official UK Cover (Amazon.co.uk)
- Official Italy Cover (iTunes)
Initially i uploaded the Italian cover as it was the first release territory. Then the UK cover was added but then because they are very similar it would be a WP:NFCC breach. Lil-unique1 (talk) 18:46, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed, there is going to be a cover for Germany and Australia too... that would be make four official covers defo not appropriate for wikipedia.Lil-unique1 (talk) 18:59, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe we should use just the Jay Sean cover? Then we can have an explaination about the other covers in the text?Lil-unique1 (talk) 17:43, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- Without any conviction about this, I suspect that as this is the ENglish WP we should use the UK version as being the the most "notable" version, rather than the promo version (which wouldn't be particularly 'notable. I am sure that if there is an entry in the Italian WP they will use the Italian cover, which is not unreasonable. Hopefully enough can be written about the different covers for different territories without resorting to OR. --Richhoncho (talk) 11:24, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- rather interestingly the UK single release features Jay Sean and this version of the song does feature on what is labelled "the international" version of the album (released digitally worldwide, and as a CD everywhere except US, Canada, Italy and Germany) Lil-unique1 (talk) 14:54, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm... give me a few days and i'll sort it out.Lil-unique1 (talk) 19:22, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
Edit semi pro
[edit]{{editsemiprotected}} in the release history section, the release date of the CD Single in Germany has been pushed back to June 18, 2010, accoriding to the given source. So change June 11, 2010 to June 18, 2010.
- Done, thank you very much for your observation. {{Sonia|ping|enlist}} 07:34, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
