Does anyone know whether “finite” in the hypothesis can be weakened to “integral”? It’s an interesting question (and makes sense to record the answer if known). Maybe the related question: if the integral closure of a ring is Noetherian, then can you say the original ring is Noetherian? —- Taku (talk) 22:37, 27 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
