This draft article does not rely on Oriental rug, but is set up independently from verified first-hand scientific papers as cited. Your opposing to this draft is therefore unsubstantiated. I could not verify User:Steverci's quotation in false information used in another article from my copy of Reed's 1972 book. In fact, the book does not mention Armenian weavers at all, but refers to "Turkish" carpets on p. 8–10 and 43–55. Reed also uses the term "Turkey" synonymously with "Asia minor" (p. 43). Reed does not cite any reference in his book.^[1]

There is no point in discussing made-up, fake references by other users. I consider User:Steverci's behaviour in this case as plainly disruptive. HajjiBaba (talk) 11:59, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I had made a mistake, it's Reed's 1967 book Oriental Rugs and Carpets that says this. My main issue with this draft is that there is no indistinguishable kind of "Anatolian" carpet or even culture as a whole because it was originally just a nickname for Eastern Ancient Greece and is today used as a word to substitute with historical Armenia. For example, the File:Armenian Animal carpet.jpg is named "Anatolian Animal carpet" here. Armenia was never even part of Anatolia. Steverci (talk) 15:21, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Pergamon Museum attributes an "Anatolian" provenience to this carpet in their current catalogue (please see references). This refers to the geographical region, not to the weaver's ethnicity or nationality. If you can provide adequate, verifiable evidence, I am more than happy with a correction.
