Baby Boom?[edit]

East Fairmont High School has been around since long before the "baby boom" era. http://www.wvculture.org/history/education/images/marion/marion006.jpg is a picture of East Fairmont High in 1921-22, which is of course prior to World War II, therefore prior to the baby boom. Does anyone know exactly when East Fairmont High was founded? I'm having trouble finding that information on the net.

Found this article in the Sep 17, 2017 Fairmont Times-West Virginian: http://www.timeswv.com/news/grassroots-for-efhs-sewn-years-ago/article_03dd943e-9b86-11e7-96f6-ffd2d829e661.html

The original EFHS was started in 1917 in the basement of Central School. The "new" building was constructed in 1921.
