Reviewing. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 08:59, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Toolbox checks -- no dab/EL issues.

Structure -- logical/standard for this type of article.

Prose/content

  • Copyedited as usual, pls let me know any concerns.
  • "The West Blockhouse was destroyed in the 19th century..." -- "destroyed" sounds like a natural disaster or act of war, would "demolished" be more appropriate?
  • Following on, there are no visible remains of the West Blockhouse then?

Sources -- appear reliable and suitably formatted.

Images -- no licensing issues.

Another nice addition to the Device Fort series -- just a couple of points before I pass it, Hc. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 11:25, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers! Changes made as suggested. I think we're on the home straight now for the Device Forts... not that many left to get up to GA! :) Hchc2009 (talk) 17:49, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Great -- passing this one. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 22:49, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

West Blockhouse confusion[edit]

I don't know how this was missed, it being a Good Article n'all, BUT West Blockhouse was demolished and replaced by West Blockhouse Fort at West Blockhouse Point and NOT by Dale Fort at Dale Head, which is about a mile further up the coast. The Dale Fort error is stated twice in the article, one with a reference by the Royal Commission on Ancient Monuments for Wales, which specifically mentions West Blockhouse Fort and doesn't mention Dale Fort at all. You would have thought that the clue was in the name, but we all make mistakes I suppose. Now amended. Alansplodge (talk) 18:57, 3 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
