Map of distribution[edit]
The map should be corrected to include Slovenia (see Talk:Languages of Slovenia). --Eleassar my talk 11:25, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- The author wishes to retain the image as it is due to it being based on the work of Pavle Ivić and representing his work correctly.[1] To avoid misunderstandings, I've added the words "according to Pavle Ivić" and "does not include Slovenia" to the image caption till a new map combining different reliable sources is published. The references needed for the inclusion of Slovenia are available at the talk page of the map in Commons. --Eleassar my talk 08:36, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
quotes for inline citations[edit]
I could add them, but the source literature is not in English. At the moment the article mostly deals with areal distribution of the dialect, and despite the paragraph which mentions migrations caused by war, it's generally non-controversial data that can be easily verified in the literature. I don't like the banner because it implies "there is something wrong with the article and additional quotes are needed to support the stated claims". --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 11:40, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
