The significance and importance of Ecojustice Canada is made very clear in this article. The article explains in great length what kind of work this organization does and the success it has had.

Ecojustice Canada is an extremely important non-profit organization in Canada because it provides legal services free of charge, in an effort to improve and protect our environment - this includes air, water, human health, global warming and wildlife, to name a few core issues. I can't understand how this does not come through in the proposed article.

This is a time in our history when reversing environmental damage is more important to people than ever before. This is a time when we need to educate and inform the public about organizations that are making this issue a priority, and achieving profound and meaningful results. Greenpeace and the David Suzuki Foundation, two groups with very similar missions, are entitled to publish Wikipedia pages. Ecojustice should be afforded the same opportunity.

The article at least asserts importance, so as the reviewing admin, I am not deleting it. But it can still be challenged at WP:AFD. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a way of getting PR, and does not judge on the basis of the worthiness of the mission, but the importance of the actual organisation, as shown by published third party references in reliable sources--the article needs some. And be aware that none of the text can be copied from a another web site. DGG (talk) 00:12, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
