Rating

[edit]

There seems to be a lot of info in this page. With some wikification and cleanup, I guess it can get a rating of 'B'. --Madhu 12:53, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I'd like to see some poverty rate and per-capita GDP information

GDP Per Capita Is Incorrect

[edit]

The GDP per capita figure shown on this page is incorrect and the stated number not exist within the source page. The source only says that the GDP per capita of Tamil Nadu was Rs 249,517 in the 2020-21 financial year, but this wikipedia page incorrectly says that the GDP per capita of TN in 2023-24 is Rs 241,131.

The source page actually does not provide a GDP per capita figure for Tamil Nadu for the current financial year. If someone would like to use the 2020-21 figure, then they must correct the date written on the page and convert to USD using the exchange rates from that year. RandomEditor291 (talk) 19:58, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I corrected the date and the value in INR but the website is automatically converting to USD using 2023 exchange rates instead of 2020-21 exchange rates, so the per capita figure is still incorrect in USD. RandomEditor291 (talk) 20:04, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
