Trivia[edit]

Removed unsourced section and placed it here until these points can be cited and integrated into other sections of the article.--J.D. (talk) 21:40, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • The soundtrack for the movie is performed by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. They are best known for their work in the movie, as well as in its sequel.
  • Wendell Newton, the saxophone player in the Cruisers is actually Michael "Tunes" Antunes, the saxophone player from the Beaver Brown Band. He is the only member of the Beaver Brown Band to physically appear in the movie.
  • Antunes has no lines in the film.

inadequacies in the articles[edit]

This article has one of the very worst plot sections I have ever seen in Wikipedia --as it does not even say what the film is about--not even a teaser, just promotional ad copy--, & the cast section is just as bad. DGG ( talk ) 20:04, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Novel[edit]

Article states this was adapted from a Novel by P.F. Kluge. Is the novel worthy of an Wiki Article? Wfoj3 (talk) 21:42, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
