Viaduct confusion
[edit]First bridge after Kirkby Stephen over the Eden.. This book page 107 says it had two spans, whereas this page 607 says it had three. The bridge is the Musgrave viaduct. I think both books are supposed to be talking about the original viaduct. There's this image http://www.flickr.com/photos/pinzac55/3238970303/ but I don't think that is the original - it looks like a post 1900 NER replacement. Does anyone know which is right? 94.72.239.127 (talk) 19:44, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
