I assume Edgar Street, home of Hereford United F.C. and the location of the Edgar Street Grid redevelopment, is named afer Bishop Edgar. Has anyone got a suitable reference so this can be added to the article? --Cavrdg (talk) 05:38, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It could be named after someone's son Edgar or King Edgar or any other Edgars in the world. And also, if it was named after the bishop (who is pretty dang obscure, folks) what does it tell us about the bishop? Nothing, really, it's just trivia. Street namings, just aren't that important to the thing they were named after. Ealdgyth - Talk 12:59, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
