Flodden Wall: date of construction

[edit]

(Really? [1] states 1513 as the year of construction of the Flodden Tower. This would be the same year.)

The date of the whole Flodden Wall is usually given as 1513, but several sources quoted in the article make it clear that it was actually built over a 50 year period. The name "Flodden Wall" itself is slightly misleading in this regard, as it makes it appear that the whole wall was rapidly thrown up immediatley after the battle, which was not the case.
