This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Eduard Hovy is one of the original 17 Fellows of the Association for Computational Linguistics--Wikidva (talk) 16:11, 13 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Wikidva: This fact, if verifiable through reliable sources, would be a useful addition to the article. As the article stands in its current form, it does not make any assertion of notability.
