Closed schools

[edit]

Should there be a section for closed schools and year of closure? (i.e. Hillcrest High School, Isabella Elementary School)--Muppeteer (talk) 06:44, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

LDSB has a page of former schools and there are a lot of them. I would suggest something like "Many Lakehead run schools have closed over the years, including Hillcrest High School and Port Arthur Collegiate Institute.*citation*"; I might have an image in the commons of a few of the closed schools (like FWCI), you could add that as well to include an image with the section. You might want to mention that some schools, like Lakeview High School, become part of the Catholic system or like Drew Street School, are now community centres, things like that.vıdıoman 15:53, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
