Edward Cullaitt Jones[edit]

I note there is an NRHP listing for First Presbyterian Church (Memphis, Tennessee), 166 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN with attribution to "Jones, Edward Cullaitt" as architect, builder or engineer. I am guessing that person is not related to the Edward C. Jones of Charleston, SC. --doncram 19:52, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, the E. C. Jones of Memphis appears to be identical with the E. C. Jones of Charleston. Beatrice St, Julien Ravenel writes in a footnoted statement in The Architects of Charleston (1992) p 219: "After the war he went to Memphis,Tennessee, and is known to have been there in 1867."
