year of death
[edit]Shouldn't it read his year of death as unknown, or simply list his date of birth and nothing else? Seems odd to put it that way. He died after he was 19 years old, but we don't know exactly when. He played in a game that year, so we know he was still alive at that time. Dream Focus 15:25, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- The example at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers)#Dates of birth and death says: When the year of death is completely unknown, it should be extrapolated from last known period of activity: "Robert Menli Lyon (1789 – after 1863) ..."
- Who am I to argue :-) cheers, Struway2 (talk) 16:56, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
