How it Got Its Name
[edit]I just talked to a former principal (not of that school) who named that school. He said that in a meeting, somebody proposed to name it Eleanore Roosevelt, which got an objection that enough was named after FDR. Somebody proposed to name Hellen Keller, which got an objection that people would think it was for students with disabilities. The person I talked to said that since the school focuses on communications, it should be named after Tom Brokaw, a name I forgot, or Edward R. Murrow. The person I talked to was joking, but people used his idea.
Would the story of how it got its name be relevant? If it is relevant, I can ask the person I talked to to give me something in writing. There probably isn't a website with that story, so using it would be trusting first-hand knowledge, which is okay with me, but may not be okay with Wikipedia. - Per WP:Verifiability, first-hand knowledge does not qualify. OhNoitsJamie Talk 20:02, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
Stabbing incident
[edit]Should the recent stabbing of a 15 year old that occurred inside this school be added/talked about in the article? Unknownnutrition (talk) 02:02, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
