I have read all the sources, and still have no idea what "passages of vivid color stand out sharply against measured visual fields" means. I think it's an attempt to paraphrase "Frantz's large-scale allover compositions highlight tensions between the foundational elements of structure, color, and form—for example, the marks of frenetic action painting on a background of calculated color blocking." [1] which isn't much clearer. Unfortunately, after reading all the sources again, I still have no idea how to describe his work in a way that would make sense to our readers.Vexations (talk) 18:38, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
