This should be Aubergine (colour). As it is this page just emphasises the strong US bias present in this section (and that of the fruit itself). Eggplant (color) would be white or pale green (egg-like) - like the old aubergines from which the name egg-plant was derived. Djp (talk) 07:10, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The color has been sourced to the Crayola color eggplant and the fact that there is a color named eggplant has been referenced to the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary, 1994 edtion. Therefore, the proposed deletion tag has been removed. Keraunos (talk) 10:05, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm new here and haven't edited any pages yet, but I'd like to point out "Is it a fruit or a vegetable" on the Vegetables page, and the line in this article referring to eggplant as a fruit. I suppose I may come back and change this myself once I become familiar enough with the Wikipedia editing process. Procuraht (talk) 05:06, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim

Wasn't Eggplant an original color for the Mighty Duck of Anaheim?--BigMac1212 (talk) 03:04, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
