Dubious[edit]

Egypt no longer being a U.S. ally, as is implied in the article, is dubious. If a reliable source is not included, that should be removed.--Cattus ^talk 16:33, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Egypt is only *sort of* a US ally. However, it's completely irrelevant in this article, so removal is absolutely correct. The article also does not need to discuss whether Egypt is currently an ally of Russia or Japan. (The historical relationship of Egypt and Russia during the Nasser era is another matter, as that had direct bearing on all of Egypt's foreign relations at the time.) --Jonadab, 2012 May 2
