Name?

[edit]

The article currently starts "Daud, Garxajis, Sheekh Isaxaaq Bin Ahmed (also known as Eidagale Ciidagale or Ciidangale)…". Is this article correctly called "Eidagale" or is one of the other names more proper and/or common? -- Gyrofrog (talk) 19:22, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article needs work, thanks Golgofrinchian (talk) 23:28, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

[edit]

@Admer9

Hello, I Changed the infobox category from "ethnic group" to "tribe" due to the inaccurate portrayal of the Eidagale as a separate ethnic entity, instead of recognizing them as an ethnically Somali clan. Furthermore, the previous version incorrectly labeled other ethnically Somali clans as distinct ethnic groups. Any information in the new infobox was sourced from the page itself and is all cited. If you have any issues with the change could you please provide a reason rather than simply reverting to your preferred version of the article. Thank You. @Admer9, I've asked twice that you please discuss this matter. I'm going to go ahead and make the change I've described above. If you revert without responding here, then I'm going to have to file a complaint against you at ANI for disruptive editing by reverting without discussing.— Solanif (talk) 14:03, 27 July 2024 (UTC).</nowiki> Solanif (talk) 01:44, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notable people

[edit]

I have re-removed two names from the list of "notable people", as they are not notable in the sense of having Wikipedia articles about them. I have already explained this to Admer on my talk page, and encouraged him to discuss the issue here if he disagrees. Maproom (talk) 20:10, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
