Eleanor of Portugal (1434–1467)Eleanor of Portugal, Holy Roman Empress — The guideline does not prohibit using marital titles to distinguish between Eleanor of Portugal, Holy Roman Empress, Eleanor of Portugal, Queen of Aragon, and Eleanor of Portugal, Queen of Denmark - please, tell me, aren't these titles much more helpful than Eleanor of Portugal (1434-1467), Eleanor of Portugal (1328–1348) and Eleanor of Portugal (1211-1231? Gryffindor is aware (or should be aware) of several similar discussions that have taken place - they have all resulted in moving X of Y (xxxx-yyyy) to X of Y, Queen of Z because such disambugation is much more useful. Is this woman notable for being an empress or for having lived between 1431 and 1467? Surtsicna (talk) 13:13, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support, although "Holy Roman Empress" is kind of a weird form. john k (talk) 06:41, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, even if the title sounds a bit odd, it's still much more helpful as a disambiguator than using dates.--Kotniski (talk) 11:06, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Much clearer than the current title. --Bermicourt (talk) 16:57, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Typo[edit]

In one of the earlier paragraphs it refers to her as a “he”... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2606:A000:5281:AD00:B0D1:2377:AE5B:2131 (talk) 11:53, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
