Cover Image[edit]

The warnings kept scaring me away from uploading the cover.Kristinwt (talk) 06:49, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just tried to add the history. And when I did, it hid the References and External References and I don't know how to get them to show up. (sigh).Kristinwt (talk) 06:58, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Primary Sourcing[edit]

I don't feel bad about using the web site of a promoter even though it can sound like advertising. Wikipedia is foremost an encyclopedia and as such is one to rely on proof and verification. I feel it is important to provide original or Primary sources for justification behind articles. I know it's a challenge between sounding like a plug for a company versus quoting original sources. But, how I see it is, since WP is about going to the Source, what better place for pointing people than to the ones who ran the concert and produced the CD. I think it is of the highest good to refer readers to the originators, the ones who would know best. Sure, they may have one take on it. But, I think it's courtesy to allow them to speak about themselves, at least. It is also permissible to have outsiders report on what they see. When you're writing a report in school the teacher always says to go with primary sources, the ones who were there, the ones who were eye witnesses, not just hearsay or opinion or someone who SPOKE with someone who was there. Let's hear it for Primary Sources. Kristinwt (talk) 07:09, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stubbiness[edit]

I think this article is long enough to not have to be called a Stub any more. Is there a minimum before it can be all grown up and ready to fly? I think there is lots of info here that someone unfamiliar would be able to go away with a concept of what it is about. I don't know how much more can be added. A review of the music by a critic? Some discussion on the concert series (which might be out of scope).Kristinwt (talk) 07:14, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Festival & CD Article Seperation[edit]

I believe that the CD article should be seperated from the festival article, and that the festival article should have prominence over the EDC Compilation by Doran. Anyone Agree? --70.170.24.76 (talk) 19:09, 2 May 2008 (UTC) E_dog95' Hi ' 21:59, 2 May 2008 (UTC) (moved section in chronological order)[reply]

I think that's fine. If you have enough material to make a start on the "festival" article, that would be great. Once that's done we can see what's there & make the decision. Thanks for chiming in :D E_dog95' Hi ' 22:03, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
