Im not sure whether the 'other techniques' belong on this page (theyre not electroforming -are they?)! 8-?--Light current 23:59, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed from page: == Other techniques ==

Other high energy rate metal forming techniques include electrohydraulic forming and explosive forming. Instead of using ultrastrong pulsed magnetic fields, these high energy rate forming processes use a powerful shock wave created within a fluid, usually water, to reshape the workpiece. Electrohydraulic forming creates the shock wave by triggering a powerful spark discharge (from a high-energy high voltage capacitor bank) within the fluid. Explosive forming creates a more powerful shock wave by detonating high explosives within the fluid. --Light current 00:16, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
