Raster charts[edit]

Surely raster charts are not databases? Billlion (talk) 10:52, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

copyrights[edit]

What is the copyright status of the ENC data? Are they released to public domain by the governments, or are they restricted by... whom? Thanks! --grin 07:04, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Electronic navigational chart. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

External links[edit]

Good evening! I've tried to insert the link to a provider and developer of electronic navigational charts, who has a full electronic world chart folio, which may be useful, I believe, for those, who read the article. But the link was removed. I think, it is worthy to restore the link. Thank you! Yana Mazul (talk) 15:41, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

seperating ECDIS and ENC pages[edit]

I aim to fill this page out with more detail on what ENCs are including display/scale differences, raster vs vector, s-57 vs s-101 and all of the most up-to-date information I can.

I believe ECDIS is significant enough that it should not be a footnote to ENCs, so in a latter stage I would like to seperate it to a different topic. Input and ideas welcome Sharkhouse (talk) 21:35, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
