Destruction of Public Education[edit]

Why does this biography contain no reference to his efforts to destroy public education? http://capitalandmain.com/latest-news/issues/politics-and-government/eli-broad-and-the-end-of-public-education-as-we-know-it-1007/

"Efforts to destroy public education"? Clear POV. The page contains an Education subsection covering the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation's philanthropy in education. What exactly would you like the page to include? Meatsgains (talk) 01:22, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy section[edit]

The controversy section needs to be rewritten to adhere to npov. It could be expanded and balanced as well, as there are stories news coming out (feb 1 2017) saying that Broad opposes Trumps's nominee Betsy DeVos. That means there will be more reliable sources shortly to talk about Broad's educcation stances, politics and controversies.104.163.150.250 (talk) 06:16, 2 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Collective Memory is SHORT![edit]

No mention of the stupendously bad build quality of the typical K&B home? The houses in a huge K&B development in Valencia CA, for example, were so flimsy that you could punch your fist clean through a wall to the outside - Even if you didn't want to! The houses all sported pretty green planted areas all around - Unfortunately the plumbing for the sprinkler systems was less than 2 inches below ground - When the temperature in Valencia dropped below freezing, which it does every few years, the plumbing froze, and split, and flooded the entire subdivision, causing extensive damage to the homes which did not have waterproof foundations. I watched a small dog tunnel from the living room of a K&B home to the outside driveway in less than a minute.
