conservation status[edit]

Most articles about a genus or species show the conservation status. Could that be added here? 206.53.196.254 (talk) 15:17, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your note. Conservation status added into taxobox. According to IUCN it is Not evaluated (NE). In the U.S. it has no Federal listing status. In Connecticut River its status W1 added (most rare in Connecticut River from non-federally listed species).
Other information about status in different states can be found at NatureServe.org while explanations of abbreviations for consevation status are at http://www.natureserve.org/explorer/ranking.htm But there are not detailed information or references mentioned for such consclusions. According to NatureServe it is Secure in the U.S. --Snek01 (talk) 20:45, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
