Was rewriting[edit]

I just spent the last 30 minutes rewriting and was edit conflicted out of saving. I'd like to get back those edits, it's a short article and can easily be rewritten. Truthkeeper88 (talk) 21:44, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Based on the first edit, I think it needs to be scrubbed all the way back, per copyvio procedures. I'm not sure we are supposed to be trying to save blatant copyvios ... remember ILT? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 21:45, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I do and am ambivalent. It's an easy job to redo and MRG's stance seems to be that if it can be saved, to save. Anyway, I don't have to work on it as long as it's been pulled. But if it's still there I can fix it very quickly so we don't have the tag. Truthkeeper88 (talk) 21:48, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I see what you mean. It prob is better to tag this. Sorry. Truthkeeper88 (talk) 21:57, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Link and reference to actress Elizabeth Croft[edit]

It says that Elisabeth Croft should "not to be confused with another English actress, Elizabeth Croft", but this links to an article on Elizabeth A. Croft, a Canadian engineer/scientist rather than an English actress. I was just going to relink it to the correct person, but as there does not seem to be an article for another Elizabeth Croft, I wondered if it was worth removing this part altogether. The only actress I can find who would match is an Elizabeth Croft who appeared as one of the Vampire Girls in the 2010 Doctor Who episode The Vampires of Venice and I am not sure how likely it is that the two would be confused. Alternatively the reference could be kept without the name, but no link. I would be grateful for other editors' views on this. Dunarc (talk) 22:44, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
