– Subject was briefly a local public figure with no national or international standing befitting a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and has not been in the public eye for over twenty years. She was commonly referenced as Betsy Watson in the same manner as the subject of another entry at the Elizabeth Watson (disambiguation) page was known as Elizabeth (Bessie) Watson. The qualifier "(police chief)" has been used for other entries, such as Steve Anderson (police chief), Tom Brown (police chief), Arthur Lawson (chief of police) or Michael Reiter (police chief).
